One killed in Clarksville single-vehicle crash

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Richaven Road early Wednesday morning.  According to a news release, officers responded to the intersection around 2:30 a.m. and it was determined that a vehicle had left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. Liberty Street home damaged by fire

A home on Liberty Street was damaged by fire Tuesday night.  According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters responded to a residence in the 100 block of Liberty Street just before 11 p.m. and upon arrival, found the roof of the home actively on fire.
