Local legislators agree the 2023 session of the Kentucky General Assembly that concluded Thursday night was an overall success, though no one ever gets everything they wanted in those limited amount of days. Gov. to sign sports betting and medical marijuana bills this morning

Today is set to be a historic day for medical marijuana advocates in Kentucky. Governor Andy Beshear has said he will sign a bill today legalizing the drug for medical purposes. The Kentucky House gave the measure final passage yesterday on the 30th and final day of the General Assembly. Microvast to invest $504 million, create 562 jobs in Christian County

Another industry based in the electric vehicle sector has chosen Commerce Park #2 in Christian County to invest $504 million and create 562 full-time jobs. According to a news release, the operation will be Microvast Advanced Membrane Inc.'s first in Kentucky and will locate in Commerce Park II in Hopkinsville and consist of a 350,000-square-foot building on 100 acres.
