Bolen becomes Christian County commonwealth’s attorney

Effective this morning, Stephanie Bolen is officially Christian County’s commonwealth’s attorney. Bolen was appointed to the post by Governor Andy Beshear following the resignation of Rick Boling. In a news release, Bolen notes she is Christian County’s first African-American chief prosecutor and she’s the first African-American commonwealth’s attorney in western Kentucky.
