Dawson Springs school board chooses Dillingham for vacant seat

The Dawson Springs Independent School System Board chose Kent Dillingham Monday night to fill the board seat that was left vacant when Jennie Bruce was killed in the December 10 tornado that devastated the town. Local library hosting Harry Potter Night Thursday

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will host Harry Potter Night Thursday. Gavin Grubbs had 17 points with Cameron Brown adding 12 as University Heights lost to Lyon County 71-57. The Blazers fell to 7-11 with the loss. Lyon County’s balanced scoring was led by Jackson Shoulders with 19 points as the Lyons improved to 15-5. UHA returns to action Thursday night at Fort Campbell.
