A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following an accident Tuesday morning on Rocky Ridge Road in Trigg County. It happened near the intersection with Cerulean Road and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Officials say the man’s box truck hauling paper goods went off the roadway and struck a tree. Dana Hamilton, local realtor and former WHOP employee, dies after battle with cancer

Local realtor and former WHOP sales account manager Dana Humphries Knight Hamilton died early Tuesday morning following a battle with cancer. Hamilton, the wife of WHOP Sports Director Todd Hamilton, was also a faithful member at Concord Baptist Church. She was employed at Advantage Realtors in Hopkinsville. Hamilton is survived by her husband, father, two sisters, two sons and two grandchildren.

A Greenville woman was injured in an accident Tuesday morning in Madisonville. Investigation by Madisonville police determined 56-year old David Lear of Greenville was stopped facing southbound on North Main Street and a vehicle behind him operated by 29-year old Sadie Owens of Madisonville was slowing to a stop. Mansfield seeking re-election as Todd Co. judge-executive

Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield has announced he’ll seek a second full term in that office during next year’s elections. Mansfield says the decision came after prayer and discussions with his family.
