Mike Walker announces candidacy for Christian Fiscal Court

Christian County School Board Member Mike Walker has announced his intention to run for Christian Fiscal Court in District 7. The Republican Walker is running for the seat currently held by Republican Jerry Gilliam, who is running for the GOP nomination for Christian County Judge-Executive. Walker retired in 2019 as Christian County Drug Court administrator and was elected in 2020 to serve District 4 on the school board.

Hopkinsville man arrested for allegedly having stolen car, property

A Hopkinsville man was arrested on felony charges Tuesday night after a Cadiz resident reportedly found him on Facebook Marketplace selling stolen property. The victim saw her property being sold on Marketplace by 42-year old Jason Morse in Hopkinsville and contacted Hopkinsville police, with officers going to a residence on Koffman Drive. Ky. adds 1,258 cases of COVID, 20 deaths

The positivity rate rose very slightly once again, as the governor reported 1,258 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. Alexander perjury trial continues with more testimony

Trial continued Tuesday in the perjury trial of former Hopkinsville Police Lt. Jefferson Alexander.
