PADD receives Impact Award for COVID home meals project

The Pennyrile Area Development District has received a 2021 Aliceann Wohlbruck Impact Award from the National Association of Development Organizations According to a news release, the award was presented to PADD for the Home Delivered and Curbside COVID Meals project that took place throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel says running back Derrick Henry will undergo foot surgery Tuesday following an injury suffered in Sunday’s 34-31 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Additional information has been released on a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning at Bradshaw Road and John Rivers Road that sent three Christian County residents to a Nashville hospital. LBL closes portions of nine wildlife refuges until March 15

Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area has closed nine wildlife refuges to human entry and all activities including hunting, fishing, and boating. A traffic stop in Lyon County over the weekend led to the arrests of two people on drug-related charges. A Lyon County sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle on Fairview Avenue driven by 32-year old Jeffrey Williams of Eddyville.
