The Tennessee Titans announced its practice squad and released quarterback Matt Barkley yesterday. The Titans claimed offensive lineman Corey Levin off waivers from the New York Jets in a corresponding move with Barkley. The most notable names on Tennessee's practice squad are wide receivers Dez Fitzpatrick and Mason Kinsey and former Alabama tight end Miller Forristall. The Titans also announced that Cole Banwart was placed on the COVID-19 List.

According to a social media post from WRUS Radio, Logan County and Russellville will not play Friday night due to COVID protocol. The game between the crosstown rivals will be played October 15th at 7 pm at Rhea Stadium in Russellville.

For the second straight year. Christian County and Henderson County will not renew their football rivalry. According to a news release from Christian County Public Schools, the game this Friday night in Henderson is canceled due to an uptick in positive and close contact Covid cases. The Colonels are scheduled to return to action next Friday, September 10th hosting Madisonville.
