Woman injured in South Virginia St. accident

A two-vehicle accident at South Virginia and East Second Street Monday morning injured one person. The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 18-year-old Xander Fasolo of Ledbetter had been northbound in a pickup pulling a trailer when he proceeded to turn onto Second. Titans make several moves Wednesday

The Tennessee Titans announced its practice squad and released quarterback Matt Barkley yesterday. The Titans claimed offensive lineman Corey Levin off waivers from the New York Jets in a corresponding move with Barkley. The most notable names on Tennessee's practice squad are wide receivers Dez Fitzpatrick and Mason Kinsey and former Alabama tight end Miller Forristall. The Titans also announced that Cole Banwart was placed on the COVID-19 List.

Christian County’s game with Henderson County canceled Friday night

For the second straight year. Christian County and Henderson County will not renew their football rivalry. According to a news release from Christian County Public Schools, the game this Friday night in Henderson is canceled due to an uptick in positive and close contact Covid cases. The Colonels are scheduled to return to action next Friday, September 10th hosting Madisonville.

Todd Co. gains six COVID-19 cases

Todd County reported six new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday. They are four adults and two minors, all isolating at home with varying symptoms and only one is vaccinated. Seventy-four of Todd County’s active cases are at home and nine are in the hospital.

Ky. adds 4,941 COVID cases, the third highest ever day of reported cases

Kentucky had its third highest day of new reported COVID-19 cases Wednesday with 4,941.
