2nd Region Baseball-Softball Pairings to be announced Thursday

WHOP Sports has learned the pairings for the 2nd region Baseball and Softball tournaments will be announced Thursday morning. The baseball draw takes place at 8:30 am with the softball draw at 9:30 am. Hopkinsville and Christian County will represent the 8th district in baseball while Christian County and University Heights will be the 8th district softball representatives.

Meet the Hoppers tonight at Casey Jones Distillery

The Hoptown Hoppers “Meet the Hoppers” night is scheduled for 6:30 this evening at Casey Jones Distillery. Players will be on hand for the event. The Hoppers open the season Friday night hosting the new member of the Ohio Valley League, Full Count Rhythm at Colonel Field. Heavy rain possible this week

Heavy rain will be likely with a storm system moving across the region this week and an isolated strong storm can’t be ruled out. Jennie Stuart Health has revised its policy on visitors for patients in the hospital. Visiting hours are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily and visitation is limited to one person at a time, though visitors can rotate out with one other person.
