Two Madisonville men were arrested following a break-in at a home on Parkwood Drive Friday. Officers from the Madisonville Police Department and Hopkins County VICE/Narcotics Unit were called to a burglary in progress at 956 Parkwood and found a broken window. Christian County scored nine times in the second inning and went on to defeat Caldwell County 12-2 in 5 innings Friday night at Lady Colonel Field. Reni Shemwell and Aalaisha McGregor each hit a home run for Christian County, who had three players to each collect two hits on the night. Gracie Harned got the pitching win for the Lady Colonels, who improved to 11-3 on the season.
