Father, son injured in Elkton ATV accident

An ATV accident Sunday afternoon in Elkton injured a man and his son. Elkton Police Officer Jakop Smith says it happened about 3:30 p.m. on Weathers Avenue near Deborah Street and witnesses indicated a malfunction of the equipment caused the ATV to overturn, ejecting 39-year old Kevin Grace of Sharon Grove and his six-year-old son to the street. Gov. Beshear reports 368 new COVID-19 cases Sunday

Governor Andy Beshear reported 368 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday. Hospitalizations were down to 416, the ICU census fell to 106 and 48 Kentuckians are on a ventilator. The positivity rate is up slightly to 3.43 percent and the governor announced five additional deaths, making the state’s death toll 6,517.

Man arrested for homicide at Clarksville Salvation Army

Clarksville police have made an arrest following a homicide at the Salvation Army on Kraft Street. Sgt. Charles Gill says the victim and Corey Allen of Sevierville were both staying at the Salvation Army when Allen allegedly killed the individual, whose name has not been released. Police say Allen is a transient with no known ties to the Clarksville area.

One person was injured and another was arrested following a head-on collision Sunday morning on Davis Mill Road in Todd County. Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Todd County opens 1971 time capsule

A time capsule buried on the grounds of the Historic Todd County Courthouse on the Public Square was unearthed and opened Saturday and plans are being made to preserve some of 2021 and bury it for future generations.
