Cotham replaces Jeff Doom who announced his retirement at the end of the 2021 season. Cotham played at Lyon County in her high school years and has been an assistant for the last few years.

Kentucky Sports Radio reports Kentucky signee Nolan Hickman, Jr. announced Friday night he will not come to Lexington this fall. Hickman’s father-Nolan Sr.-tells KSR with Tony Barbee no longer with the program along with wanting to play closer to his Kent, Washington home led to his decision.
