Trigg County head coach Peach leaving for Danville

Trigg County is on the search for a new head coach. Multiple reports indicate Mark Peach has accepted the head coaching vacancy at Danville. Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell is now offering COVID-19 vaccination to all TRICARE eligible beneficiaries age 16 and older. Family members and retirees in the Tier 2 COVID-19 vaccine category can make an appointment on the hospital’s website. KYTC to replace cross drain on KY 800 Monday, Tuesday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of a cross drain replacement on Crofton-Dawson Road early next week in Christian County. The work will require lane restrictions for KY 800 near mile point 3 Monday and Tuesday while the work is addressed. The replacement is scheduled for completion on Tuesday and motorists will need to seek alternate routes during work.

Austin Peay hires Duke assistant James as basketball coach

photo credit: Duke Athletics Austin Peay has hired Duke associate head coach Nate James as the replacement to Matt Figger. The 43-year-old James has been with Duke for the last nine years. Figger resigned earlier this week to accept the head coaching position at UT Rio Grande Valley. James will be formally introduced at a 2 pm news conference on Tuesday.
