That puts the total in the county at 894—of that, 220 cases are considered ‘active’, 660 individuals have recovered from the virus and there are been 14 COVID-19 related deaths. Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel intends for students to return to some type of in-person instruction in the near future and will present his recommendation to the school board Thursday evening.
