Applications are still being accepted until Friday for the 2021 Distinguished Young Woman of Christian County Award Scholarship.
According to a news release, awards will be announced on the evening of October 4 via Facebook Live and applications can be submitted online at distinguishedyw.org. Participation is open to all Class of 2021 young women that reside in Christian County. CCHS, HCA, HHS, UHA and Homeschool students are all encouraged to apply.
Each participant will compete in five categories including talent, fitness, interview, scholastics, and self-expression and participants will be competing for cash scholarships and for various college granted scholarships.
The young woman selected as 2021 Distinguished Young Woman of Christian County will participate in Distinguished Young Woman of Kentucky in January. For more information about the Distinguished Young Women of Christian County Scholarship Program, contact Holly Hampton at 270-881-8634.
