KSP to have extra patrols for Labor Day weekend

Kentucky State Police is participating in Operation C.A.R.E this Labor Day weekend. A news release says Friday through Monday, troopers will be taking part in a national effort to increase officer presence on interstate and U.S. Highways. University Heights Academy will transition to 100 percent in-person instruction September 14. Titans have two injuries in Tuesday’s workout

Right guard Nate Davis and linebacker Derick Robertson had to be carted off the field in Tuesday’s Tennessee Titans' practice. Davis suffered an apparent leg injury, but it was later reported to be cramps and not serious. Robertson had to be helped inside, not putting weight on one leg. No word from the team on the severity of the injuries.

One killed, three injured in accident near Dunmor

A single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in the Dunmor community of Muhlenberg County killed one person and injured three others. Kentucky State Police investigated and determined a 17-year old Drakesboro resident had been southbound on US 431 South when he failed to negotiate a curve.
