A boil water advisory has been issued for three streets in Cadiz. Those are Chasity Drive, Brandy Drive and Dana Drive, according to the City of Cadiz. Residents there should bring water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes prior to consumption.

McCracken Co. stabbing suspect arrested in Hopkinsville

A suspect sought in connection with a stabbing Monday in McCracken County has been arrested in Hopkinsville. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department has sought 26-year old Zachary Bonn in connection with the case. Bonn allegedly stabbed a 24-year old male victim at a home near the Farley area Monday and that man was taken to the hospital with an incapacitating injury. It was announced Tuesday MLB veterans will be paid $286,500 in advance pay for the first 60 days of the season during the stoppage caused by the coronavirus, or $4,775 per day. Meanwhile, players for the Bowling Green Hot Rods, Lexington Legends, Memphis Redbirds, Nashville Sounds and Louisville Riverbats will get paid through May 31st. The NBA and its players are reportedly discussing withholding the remaining pay owed. According to ESPN, the NBA and the Players Association are discussing a scenario where 25 percent would be withheld in a league escrow if the rest of the season was canceled. The league has been suspended amid the ongoing coronavirus and still hopes to return to action to finish out the season.

Lyon County nursing home resident hospitalized with COVID-19

A resident of a Lyon County nursing home has been hospitalized with COVID-19.
