U of L’s Evans announces she’ll return for senior year

photo credit: U of L Athletics University of Louisville women’s standout Dana Evans announced on social media today she has decided to return for her senior season. Evans was named ACC Player of the Year after leading the Cardinals to a 28-4 record and an ACC regular season title. Evans-a native of Gary, IN-led the Cardinals in scoring with an average of 18 points per game.

UK’s Lawson talks on allowing seniors extra year

MLB officially cancels Cards-Cubs London series in June

Major League Baseball has officially canceled a two-game series in London between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals because of the coronavirus pandemic. The teams had been scheduled to play at Olympic Stadium on June 13th and 14th. Commissioner Rob Manfred made the announcement in a memorandum sent to MLB employees today.

Library looking to still help community while closed

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is working to still benefit the community although they are shut down at least until May due to COVID-19.
