Gov. cuts Medicaid benefits for thousands

Hundreds of Thousands of Kentuckians are without dental and vision coverage following a decision by the Bevin Administration. Governor Matt Bevin cut vision and dental coverage for nearly a half-million Kentuckians following a federal judge's ruling that Kentucky could not require some residents to get jobs or volunteer for Medicaid benefits. Deer causes Hopkins Co. injury accident

A deer in the roadway caused an accident Sunday afternoon in Hopkins County that injured the driver. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department issued a news release saying Ernie Fulcher of Sacramento was headed west on Rosecreek Road when a deer entered his path. After a few months of waiting, the Associated Press finally announced its All State teams over the weekend. University Heights senior to be KyKy Tandy was named first team All-State, with Christian County grad Detorrion Ware named to the second team.
