HPD investigating theft of vehicle

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle that ended in a wreck Saturday. According to the police report, a suspect stole the victim’s vehicle, valued at $2,000, violating an emergency protective order she had against the suspect. Cadiz shooting suspect arrested in Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man wanted in connection to a March shooting in Cadiz was arrested in Hopkinsville early Monday morning by Hopkinsville police. According to the police report, officers observed 21-year old Jaquaveion Greenwade of the city walking on the right side of the road instead of the left and stopped to speak with him. Two arrested for trafficking in meth, opiates

A Hopkinsville man and a woman from Tennessee were arrested early Sunday morning on multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine and opiates. According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle driven by 38-year old Michael Wimberly of the city for no headlights being illuminated.
