Local woman charged with theft of identity, theft of mail matter, forgery

A Hopkinsville woman was served with warrants on numerous charges Monday, including theft of mail matter, felony theft by deception, theft of identity and more by the Hopkinsville Police Department.  According to the Hopkinsville police report, 26-year-old Haley Pool of Hopkinsville is accused of stealing a check out of a mailbox and then attempting to transfer roughly $2,800 from the victim’s account to a different account via a mobile app. […]
