Lady Tigers drop final soccer scrimmage to Murray

Kaydon Coats scored early in the first half but it wasn’t enough for the Christian County Lady Tigers, who dropped a 2-1 scrimmage game to Murray Thursday night at the Stadium of Champions.  Christian County won the JV contest 5-1 with Luxton King and Emma Kate Howell each scoring two goals. Blazers thrash Russellville 8-0 in final soccer scrimmage

The University Heights Academy girls’ and boys’ golf teams doubled up on Thursday afternoon at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.  For the second year in a row both teams claimed the All “A” Region 2 Golf Tournament titles and advanced to the Touchstone Energy All “A” State Tournament.  The Lady Blazers rode the performance of eighth grader Ella Perry, who carded a 8-over-par 80 to earn the medalist honors in the tournament. Lindsey leads Lady Blazers to 3rd-place finish at Daviess

University Heights Academy’s girls’ golf team took third place in the Daviess County Invitational on Wednesday at the Pearl Club in Owensboro.  Campbell Lindsey paced the Lady Blazers with an 84 and Ella Perry was one shot back at 85.   The Lady Blazers shot a team score of 345. HCA plans ‘Meet the Warriors Night’ for Saturday
