Tucker paces Lady Blazers at Paducah Invitational

After a strong round at the Region 2 All “A” Golf Tournament last week at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club, University Heights Academy’s Caroline Tucker followed up with another good round Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.  Tucker led the Lady Blazers with an 88, one shot ahead of teammate Allie Sandifer.  The Lady Blazers finished 10th as a team.  Henderson County’s Meryl Grogan was the medalist with a 3-under-par 68. HCA’s Egbert, UHA golfers play in Paducah Invitational

Heritage Christian Academy’s Cruz Egbert earned another top-10 finish over the weekend, this time at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.  The Warriors’ top golfer carded a 3-over-par 74 to finish tied for ninth place, only six shots behind the winner, Triston Logsdon, of Owensboro Catholic. The first season for the Christian County High School Tigers officially kicked off Saturday night at the Rotary Arena at the new high school.
