The Christian County Tigers won their first boys’ home soccer match in school history Monday night, rallying from an early deficit to defeat Webster County 5-1. Anthony Evangelista had a pair of goals for the Tigers (3-0). Kayden Lackey, Sebastien Klar, and Trieu Nguyen also had goals for Christian County, which is scheduled to play tonight at Russellville. The Showbox in Hopkinsville will soon be transformed into a scene straight from the 1920s for the Friends of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library’s Gatsby Gala. The Tennessee Valley Authority and Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. partnered to provide $700,000 in grants to 187 youth robotics programs at schools and nonprofits, and Christian County High School was one of the recipients.
