Christian County Chamber of Commerce announces three recent hires

Three fresh faces have joined the Christian County Chamber of Commerce team.

Kelly Gates was announced the next vice president of membership and development and she will begin her role on September 1. Gate’s is coming on board as Chandler Ladd has left that position to serve as the president of the Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

According to a news release, Gates is joining the chamber after working with the Christian County Public School System for 30 years where she is currently the workforce program specialist. Gates is also a member of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club where she has served as the president.

On July 22, Chloe Cannon Dossett joined the chamber as the director of marketing, events and member engagement. Dossett is joining the chamber following Kaylee Upton’s departure from the organization.

Dossett has a background in public relations, digital marketing, event coordination and community engagement. She most recently served as the marketing and auction manager for Bolinger Real Estate and Auction.

Chamber President and CEO Taylor Hayes says Gates and Dossett bring unique strengths and experiences that align with the chamber’s mission, which will allow them to continue providing tremendous value to their members.

Then, in June, the chamber welcomed Christian County High School senior Olivia Garrison as the organization’s new co-op student.
