HCC invites the community to second annual Color Run

To highlight the importance of physical health while having fun, Hopkinsville Community College is inviting folks to its second annual Color Run on April 25. HCC Advancement Specialist Pat Hinton appeared on WHOP and shared that 119 people are currently registered for the run, and this year’s 5K course was redrawn and will take people around the campus. Lady Tigers take 8th at Region 1 Archery Tournament

The Hopkinsville High School girls’ archery team took eighth place in the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament over the weekend at the Chase Fulcher Archery Building in Henderson.  Katelyn Agosto led the Lady Tigers with a 273, which was 29th overall among the girls’ standings. Hoptown finished with 1,805 points, one point better than Christian County, which was ninth in the team standings.  Henderson County won the girls’ title with 1,951 points. CCHS archery teams compete at KHSAA Region 1 tourney

The Christian County High School girls’ archery team took ninth place in the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament over the weekend at the Chase Fulcher Archery Building in Henderson.  The Lady Colonels were led by Audrina Croney, who shot a 267 and was 42nd overall among female participants.  Henderson County won the girls’ title with 1,951 points. University Heights Academy’s Ajae Oatts continued her standout senior season by taking a pair of third place finishes in the prestigious Invitational of the South high school track meet Saturday in Benton.  Oatts took third place in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes to lead the Lady Blazers to a 10th-place finish with 25 points.  Calloway County won the girls’ team title with 175 points, just ahead of McCracken County (139.5) and Clarksville Northwest (59).  The Lady Blazers’ 4x200-meter […]

Hopkinsville High School’s track teams participated in the prestigious Invitational of the South Saturday at Marshall County High School.  In the boys’ meet, Hoptown took fourth place with 67 points. Marshall County won the meet with 134 points, followed by Rossview (78), and Henderson County (75.75).
