A new pavilion was unveiled at the Jeffers Bend Environmental Center at a dedication ceremony on Friday. Members from the Jeffers Bend Steering Committee, Christian Fiscal Court and the Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority (HWEA) attended and spoke at Friday’s dedication. HPD investigating bicycle vs. vehicle hit and run

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a vehicle versus bicycle collision that sent a woman to the hospital for serious injuries and the alleged driver fled from. KYTC to address base repairs on Walnut Street next week

Base failure repairs are scheduled for Thursday and Friday of next week on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville. Christian Fiscal Court approves lowered tax rates on second-reading

Christian Fiscal Court held a special-calling meeting Friday morning where they approved the tax rates for the fiscal year. UHA will not have a Girls Varsity Basketball Program for the 2023-24 Season

WHOP Sports has learned that University Heights Academy will not have a Girls Varsity basketball team for the 2023-24 season. UHA Athletic Director Taylor Sparks confirmed Thursday night that due to low numbers they will not field a team this season.
