KYTC to address base repairs on Walnut Street next week

Base failure repairs are scheduled for Thursday and Friday of next week on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville.

According to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the work zone is from the new CSX railroad bridge north to East Ninth Street and there will be lane closures in place with flaggers.  Delays will likely occur in those areas and motorists are urged to seek alternate routes.

This work is in preparation for the resurfacing of Walnut Street late September or early October.
