Madisonville police are investigating a murder-suicide from Thursday of last week. A news release says a family friend went to an Echo Lane home to check on the residents about 10:30 p.m. Thursday and found Donald and Jayne Hundley dead from gunshot wounds to the head. Warrant served for strangulation, assault charges

An arrest warrant for strangulation and assault charges has been served against a Hopkinsville man. It alleges that on March 19, 30-year old Traivaun Buckner of Hopkinsville pushed a woman, threw her to the ground and choked her during an altercation over a phone at a Greenville Road residence.
