NIT to reduce field & play in one site this year

The National Invitational Tournament is downsizing its field due to the Covid pandemic. The NCAA announced Monday the NIT will feature just 16 teams and all the games will be played in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Trigg County reports eight new COVID cases since Friday

Trigg County on Monday reported eight new confirmed coronavirus cases since Friday. They are two minors and six adults, ranging in age from 11 to 60, and they are all isolated at home, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department. Caldwell County went the entire weekend without any new cases.

CCHD reports 12 new COVID-19 cases, testing no longer at Tie Breaker Park

The Christian County Health Department reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 locally since Saturday. That’s according to Monday’s update, and puts the overall total at 6,156—of that, 140 cases are considered active and 5,937 people have recovered from the illness.
