For the first time since 2016, Christian County is the champion of the 8th district, downing University Heights 81-59. The game was back and forth for three quarters with 28 lead changes and 11 ties with the Colonels leading the Blazers 54-53 at the end of the third period. WKU rallies for OT win over Louisiana Tech

Western Kentucky trailed in the first half 30-18 and came back to defeat Louisiana Tech in overtime 95-91. Taveion Hollingsworth had a career high 43 points in the win for the Hilltoppers, now 19-9 and 12-4 in Conference USA.
