The Hopkinsville Police Department arrested a local man Wednesday on several charges, including possession of synthetic drugs and tampering with evidence. According to the police report, officers responded to Taco Bell for reports of a man screaming hysterically and shouting for police. Movies in the Park first showing on Friday

The first showing for the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department’s Movies in the Park is Friday evening and kicks off the program for the rest of the summer. The Hoptown Hoppers play their season opener this evening at the Fulton Railroaders. 2nd region Baseball action continued at Christian County’s Colonel Field last night. The Union County Braves got a no hitter from Davis Corbett in defeating Trigg County 4-1 in the first semifinal.
