Suspect sought in attempted murder in Greenbrier

The Robertson County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing incident from Sunday afternoon as attempted murder. It happened on Long Road in Greenbrier and a news release says the victim underwent emergency surgery at a Nashville hospital and is in stable condition. Residential burglary reported on South Virginia St.

A residential burglary on South Virginia Street from over the weekend is under investigation by Hopkinsville Police. Someone went inside a 2013 South Virginia home between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday and stole a Kenmore dishwasher, clothes, shoes, towels and dishes with a combined value of about $700, according to the report filed with HPD.

In-house absentee voting has begun in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties for those who can’t make it to their polling place on primary election day. Investigation continues into Central Avenue murder

Investigation continues into the murder of a man on Central Avenue Sunday afternoon. Hopkinsville Police Lt.
