Four hurt in Madisonville accident

Four people were injured in a wreck Thursday in Madisonville. It happened about 2:40 p.m, according to a news release from Madisonville Police, which says 26-year old Holly Latta of Madisonville was northbound on South Main Street and 73-year old Ralph Vandiver of Dawson Springs was headed west on Honeysuckle Drive. The month of February is full of events scheduled to take place at the historic Alhambra Theatre, including plays, movies and field trips. Kiwanis hosting 32nd annual pancake breakfast Saturday

The 32nd annual Kiwanis pancake breakfast fundraiser is coming up Saturday at the War Memorial Building and the community is invited to attend. Pembroke man arrested for DUI, meth

A Pembroke man was arrested Thursday in Elkton for DUI and methamphetamine possession. Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Saunders stopped a vehicle driven by 50-year old William Stewart of Pembroke on West Main Street in Elkton and determined him to be under the influence. Jennie Stuart Medical Center is now accepting applications for Henry Bell Scholarships. The hospital will award three $2,000 scholarships based on motivation and financial needs to high school seniors in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties who are seeking a career in the healthcare field. An investigation on West 15th Street Thursday afternoon led to the arrests of two suspects for manufacturing methamphetamine. Officers went to 117 West 15th about 1:15 p.m. to serve a warrant and a resident gave consent to come inside.
