One person was shot and another was arrested following an incident on Sunset Drive in Murray on Monday. According to the Murray Police Department, officers responded to Sunset Drive for reports that a shooting had occurred and arrived to find an adult female victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Trigg County’s Carson Kline took home medalist honors in a three-team boys’ high school golf match Tuesday afternoon at Western Hills Golf Course.  Kline edged Heritage Christian Academy’s Cruz Egbert by one shot in the nine-hole match. Graves County spoils Heights’ volleyball opener

University Heights Academy opened the 2026 high school volleyball season Tuesday night with a 3-1 loss to host Graves County in Mayfield.  The Lady Blazers had hoped to give their head coach Faye Hendricks a birthday win. Russellville rallies to defeat Christian County in boys’ soccer

It was a tough night on the soccer pitch for the Christian County Tigers, who dropped their first game of the season 2-1 to host Russellville on Tuesday.  Joseph Lopez scored early in the second half for a 1-0 lead, but the Panthers scored the next two goals to hold off the Tigers, who slipped to 3-1 on the season.  Lopez already has three goals on the young season for the Tigers.  […]
