Russellville rallies to defeat Christian County in boys’ soccer

It was a tough night on the soccer pitch for the Christian County Tigers, who dropped their first game of the season 2-1 to host Russellville on Tuesday. 

Joseph Lopez scored early in the second half for a 1-0 lead, but the Panthers scored the next two goals to hold off the Tigers, who slipped to 3-1 on the season. 

Lopez already has three goals on the young season for the Tigers. 

Christian County returns to action Thursday night against Mayfield at the Stadium of Champions.
