Trigg County’s Carson Kline took home medalist honors in a three-team boys’ high school golf match Tuesday afternoon at Western Hills Golf Course.  Kline edged Heritage Christian Academy’s Cruz Egbert by one shot in the nine-hole match. University Heights Academy opened the 2026 high school volleyball season Tuesday night with a 3-1 loss to host Graves County in Mayfield.  The Lady Blazers had hoped to give their head coach Faye Hendricks a birthday win. University Heights Academy will take on Caldwell County at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Girls’ Region 2 All “A” Soccer Tournament semifinals at Givens Field.  The Lady Tigers routed Crittenden County 7-0 Monday night in the first round and improved to 4-0 on the season.  Tonight’s other semifinal, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. features Lyon County against Fort Campbell. Evangelista leads Tigers past Webster County

The Christian County Tigers won their first boys’ home soccer match in school history Monday night, rallying from an early deficit to defeat Webster County 5-1.  Anthony Evangelista had a pair of goals for the Tigers (3-0).  Kayden Lackey, Sebastien Klar, and Trieu Nguyen also had goals for Christian County, which is scheduled to play tonight at Russellville.  Photos by Peyton Biaquis
