Hopkinsville Police are investigating after 19-year-old Jordan Jones of Hopkinsville was shot on Walnut Street Wednesday afternoon and later died from his injuries. The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of Walnut Street, and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says Jones was in a car and suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. A truck crashed through the front of the Rusty Pot, a restaurant along Fort Campbell Boulevard, on Tuesday.
