HPD investigates after a deceased man was located near South Walnut Street

A deceased man in his 50s was reportedly found in the area of South Walnut Street and Jessie Avenue on Sunday.   According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, crews arrived at the scene to find the patient deceased and believe that a medical episode might have led to his death. Interstate 24 wreck involving a paint truck results in minor injuries

A wreck on Interstate 24 between a paint truck and a tractor-trailer resulted in minor injuries Tuesday afternoon. Walnut Street shooting victim dies from his injuries

Hopkinsville Police are investigating after 19-year-old Jordan Jones of Hopkinsville was shot on Walnut Street Wednesday afternoon and later died from his injuries. The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of Walnut Street, and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says Jones was in a car and suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. Truck crashes into the Rusty Pot, no injuries were reported

A truck crashed through the front of the Rusty Pot, a restaurant along Fort Campbell Boulevard, on Tuesday. The wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says three workers were inside the restaurant, but were uninjured. Residential fire on Broad Street damages multiple apartments

The Hopkinsville Fire Department responded to a residential fire at the corner of East 10th and Broad Streets that impacted around seven apartments on Monday.
