HPD investigates after a deceased man was located near South Walnut Street

A deceased man in his 50s was reportedly found in the area of South Walnut Street and Jessie Avenue on Sunday.  

According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, crews arrived at the scene to find the patient deceased and believe that a medical episode might have led to his death. The Christian County Coroner was reportedly called to the scene to identify the man. 

No other information is available at this time, and Hopkinsville Police are investigating what may have led to the man’s death.
