The Todd County Water District issued a boil water advisory on Tuesday following maintenance to a main line. The advisory is in effect for customers on Edwards Lane and Heltsley Road in Clifty. The water district advises customers in the area to boil water for three minutes before use. Customers will be notified when the advisory concludes.
A water main break in downtown Hopkinsville resulted in multiple road blockages on Saturday. The Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority reportedly received an alert concerning a water main break near East Ninth Street and South Main Street at around 3:20 a.m. Saturday morning. The Todd County Water District has issued a Boil Water Advisory for several roads north and east of Elkton. It includes Spa Road from 4386 to 6245, Duncan Ridge Road from 3378 to 8874, Jim Wilhite Road, LB Johnson Road and Everlasting Springs Road. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Drinking water should be allowed to boil for three minutes before use.
