HCA’s Egbert earns medalist honors in match with CCHS

The Heritage Christian Academy and Christian County High School golf teams held a nine-hole match Tuesday afternoon at Western Hills Golf Course. 

The Warriors’ Cruz Egbert battled the heat and carded a 3-over-par 33 to earn medalist honors. 

Henry Riggs, Aiden Riley, and Chris Adcock each had a 42 to pace the Tigers. Nolan Young and Jackson Crick each carded a 43.

For HCA, Sawyer Lixey had a 48. Tripp Egbert (56) and John Spurling (73) also played in the match.

Christian County won the match 169-210.
