UHA’s Courtland Gibson commits to Frontier Community College

University Heights Academy senior catcher Courtland Gibson has committed to Frontier Community College in Fairfield, Ill. 

The UHA star announced his commitment on social media late last month. 

Gibson helped lead the Blazers to the Region 2 championship in 2026. As a junior Gibson hit .323 with 24 RBI. 

Gibson also handled the pitching staff which had a 3.43 ERA in 2026. 

He is the second UHA baseball player to commit. Teammate AJ Hogart committed to Wabash Valley.
