Portions of Main Street in Hopkinsville to close for a paving project

Two sections of North Main Street in Hopkinsville are set to be closed starting on Tuesday for milling and paving projects. 

From 7:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, North Main Street will be blocked at the Glass Avenue and West 7th Street intersections for milling operations. On Wednesday, the road closures will continue from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for resurfacing operations. 

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the closures.
