The Region 2 All “A” Baseball Tournament will begin around the area tonight.  University Heights Academy will be waiting on the results of the Heritage Christian Academy-Lyon County game, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Eddyville tonight.   Seventh-ranked UHA (11-2) was scheduled to host Dawson Springs tonight. The Christian County High School track teams had an impressive day in the rainy Calloway County Laker Invitational Saturday in Murray.  Both the Colonels and Lady Colonels finished fifth in their respective meets. Tigers win Calloway County invite, Lady Tigers take 4th

The Hopkinsville Tigers track team won the Calloway County Laker Track and Field Invitational Saturday in Murray.  On a rainy Saturday, the Tigers topped 25 other teams from three states with 121 points.   It was a big day for Keyshun Teal, who won the boys’ 110-meter hurdles and Hoptown teammate Kayden Humphrey took second place.
