This week’s Jennie Stuart Health-Michael Venable State Farm Player of the Week is Christian County High School senior guard Anaysia Bagwell. Bagwell is the school’s second all-time scorer and has led the Lady Colonels to a 13-9 record this season. She is averaging 17.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Double-murder suspect Anthony Gaines appeared in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday where he was arraigned on charges related to an alleged assault incident. To support community members fighting cancer, Christian County Relay for Life is preparing to kick-off its 34th fundraising campaign with a pancake breakfast this weekend. Relay for Life is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local individuals fighting cancer and their families during the treatment and recovery process. Former Caldwell County High School golfer Emma Talley is among the latest class of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
