Lady Colonels remain No. 5 in Region 2 basketball poll

Henderson County continues to lead the Girls’ Region 2 Media Basketball Poll.

The Lady Colonels, who will be playing at Christian County Tuesday night, received 110 points to earn the top spot in the poll. Lyon County (96), Crittenden County (85), Hopkins County Central (83) and Christian County (66) round out the top five.

Madisonville-North Hopkins (54), Caldwell County (43), Trigg County (26), Union County (26) and Webster County (16) round out the top 10.

Tuesday night’s Henderson-Christian County game is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. with airtime at 7:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
