Culvert repair to close portion of Sanderson Drive next week

Hopkinsville Public Works is giving a heads up that there will be a culvert repair taking place next Tuesday on Sanderson Drive. Tigers’ wrestlers finish 13th at CCHS Invitational

The Hopkinsville Tigers had seven wrestlers compete Tuesday at the Christian County Invitational Wrestling Tournament. Leading the way for the Tigers were Kyrien Cannon and Garrison Meacham, who both placed fourth in their respective weight classes. Ayden Brison finished fifth and Michael Harper took sixth place in their respective divisions. Hopkinsville was 13th out of 17 teams with 57 points. Christian County won the title with 253.5 points. Colonels capture wrestling tournament crown

The Christian County High School wrestling team captured its own invitational on Tuesday. The Colonels had four champions including Malachi James (106 pounds), Dane Miller (144 pounds), Paul Abren (150 pounds), and Treshawn Crenshaw at heavyweight.
