Men 2 Be awarded federal grant and a donation from Vansauwa’s Tacos & Vegan Eats

All-District 8 Volleyball Team selected

The All-District 8 Volleyball Team was announced following last night’s district championship match. Christian County had four players on the team including Shiloh Baker, Ashlea Russell, Katie Cansler, and Kaidence Atwell. Runner-up Heritage Christian Academy placed Hadlee Hayes, Allie Craft, and Bralee Fowler on the team. UHA’s Nichols, Lester earn Region 2 soccer honors

According to a post from the school, University Heights Academy boys’ soccer coach Josh Nichols was named the Region 2 Coach of the Year by the Kentucky High School Coaches Association. Former University Heights Academy cross country runner Cole Glover has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week following a record-breaking performance at the Greenville Classic. Suspect turns himself in for fatal Princeton shooting

Twenty-year-old Hector Miguel Pena turned himself in for a shooting incident that occurred in Princeton early Thursday morning. The shooting reportedly occurred around 2:40 a.m. in the 300 block of Beverly Lane in Princeton. Princeton Police responded to the scene and found 34-year-old Jerrod Cooper of Princeton with multiple gunshot wounds.
