Settlement reached with LG&E and Kentucky Utilities about rate adjustments

A proposed agreement has been reached regarding Louisville Gas and Electric and Kentucky Utilities’ rate increases. According to the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office, as part of the settlement agreement, LG&E and have KU agreed to lock in base rates until at least August 2028, and Kentucky customers will see increases of less than $10 on their monthly gas and electric bills. Events planned around final Hoptown-County game

The final Hoptown-County football game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday night at the Stadium of Champions. The Tigers enter the game 4-4 and 1-1 in Class 6-A, District 1 play. Christian County is 1-7 overall and 0-2 in the district.
