The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department and the Pennyrile Narcotics Taskforce arrested two Greenville residents on drug trafficking charges. According to a news release, the arrests occurred following search of a residence on Tuesday where suspected methamphetamine and other items of drug paraphernalia was found inside. Before voters make their way to the polls for this year’s Presidential Election, Christian County Clerk Melinda Humphries provided a whole lot of voting information at Tuesday’s Hopkinsville Rotary Club meeting. Lyon County was recently granted $2.4 million from the Delta Regional Authority’s Community Infrastructure Fund for a water reliability project. Hopkinsville Police arrested 25-year-old Xavier Hernandez of Hopkinsville for strangulation after he reportedly assaulted a victim on Thursday. According to a report from police, they responded to the location of an open 911 call where a man was heard yelling at the caller.
